Dyrholaey (Dyrhólaey), Iceland - Dyrholaey (Dyrhólaey), Iceland - Dyrhólaey or Portland is a small peninsula, or promontory located on the south coast of Iceland, not far from Vík í Mýrdal. It is a former island of volcanic origin which is also known by the Icelandic word eyja meaning island. Seen here is the lighthouse that overlooks the coastline.
