Notes: |
Jerusalem, Israel - A Bar Mitzva ceremony, when a boy becomes a man with obligations to god and society at the age of 13. In this ceremony the boy reads from the Torah and/or Haftarah and then family and friends celebrate with song and dance. It is usually done at a synagogue but doing it at the wailing wall is considered particularly auspicious.
