Notes: |
Havana, Cuba - Cuban men gather around Parque Central in Havana, some are screaming at the top of their lungs and it looks like a fight is about to break out. Then some men in the group laugh and you realize you don't need to call the police after all. What is happening is a ritual in a part of the park near the Jose Marti Statue, it's called the Esquina Caliente (The Hot Corner) for a reason. Here Cubans come to debate baseball in the manner which Cubans do everything else, with lots of passion.
