Havana, Cuba - A Cuban boy prepares to dive from the Malecon into the sea during sunset. El Malecón is the avenue that runs along the seawall at the northern shore of Havana, from Habana Vieja to the Almendares River. A common pastime for young males is to swim or dive around the nearby rocks. During strong storms, waves can be seen crashing over the seawall onto the street. In the background is the Vedado skyline.
