Havana, Cuba - A blind Angola war veteran who has had both arms amputated smokes a cigarette. I had met the man while walking around in central Havana and was immediately struck by how jovial he was. He had friends all up along the block and would stop to talk to each of them as he made his way around using only the walking stick attached to his amputated right arm.
