After surgery, Lucas was allowed to go home for the subsequent chemo treatments. His parents researched all they could about the disease, and were soon correcting the doctors and nurses about various aspects of the treatment.
A fund has been created to keep Lucas' spirit alive. Donations will be used to support children's medical treatment in honor of Lucas.
